No screenshot needed...  the bug was pretty obvious once you pointed it out.   

I have the new build already posted to the Apple servers just waiting for them to review and approve. 

I will let you know when it is available so you can give it a retest.

Actually...  I think I see the bug already.  Since you have so many imported songs, you have to scroll to see them and Apple reuses cells for scrolling.  I didn't take that into account, so each time it reuses, the app is adding the icons to the cell overlapping what already might be there.   Hopefully, I can get this fixed up fast and get an update to Apple.

Just released a new Apple version 2.5.15 in the app store that includes your request for imported file indicators of usage in the app.  I use phased release so you will probably need to go directly to the app store to get the update on demand.  Please let me know how that looks on your setup.

I received the email file and I will take a look today...

I'm a little puzzled because what you describe is a pretty basic use case. 

Do you have the announcements mixed with the songs at all?  If so can you export your app data and email that to me as well?

Have you tried some of the usual suspects:
Power off and back on the phone?
Turn off any other music playing apps?
Check for a system update of the phone? Any version x.0.0 has high bug potential.
Verified you have the latest version of the Walkout Song app?

Couple diagnostic questions:
Did you record the announcements in the app or using a third party app? 
What version of Android is on your device? 
Are you using a bluetooth speaker?

Can you email one of the announcement files to walkoutsongdj@gmail.com so I could try to reproduce?

Sadly, you can't download music from Spotify and Spotify will not allow my app to just play the songs in your Spotify account. 

I have written everything to support Spotify in my app, but Spotify has not yet granted me commercial approval.   I have requested that approval multiple times over the past three years and they simply don't respond.  I suspect I'm just not a big enough app for them to bother with      Feel free to contact Spotify and ask them why they won't let you use your Spotify with my Walkout Songs app...   if enough users do that, perhaps they will finally talk to me.

Tap the '>' button at the end of the player row to enter the song configuration screen.  On that page, the cue time is where the walkout song would start and the duration is how long it will play for.  You can set those values by dragging the slider or playing the song to the point you want and the tapping '[' for the cue start or ']' for the duration end.  You can also just drag the digits of the times up or down to pick a time or use the +/- buttons to fine tune.

I think that will work.  See what I can do. 

Also note version 2.5.14 available in the app store today has the alphabetical index for the imports.  Let me know how that works for you while I work on the song usage icons.

It sounds like you are emailing a link to a song rather than the song file itself. 

Is the generic tablet an Apple or Android device? 

Can you try emailing the song file to me at walkoutsongdj@gmail.com and I will see what is actually attached.

Nice, but perhaps too wordy for iphone layout...   What about a list of the icons for the pages that the song appears on?

Ok, that makes sense then...

I will take a look at level of difficulty and risk to add an alphabetical sort and side index for that imported file list.  See if I can get the feature added in the next couple release cycles.

I'm not sure exactly how the interface would look for showing which songs are in use, but I will add that to the todo list and see if I can come up with something.

Is this on an Apple device?   

I have an alphabetic index for import songs on the Android version, but didn't figure that Apple users would have a large number of imports with the iTunes library available.

You are welcome... sorry that wasn't obvious. 

I am a one man show software engineer and softball dad so my user interface design skills are not the best. 

I will make a note to change that color scheme to be less confusing in future releases.  I also made some notes to clear up confusion between the imported songs and iTunes library based on your other post.  That confusion has caused suffering for more than a few people.
