No decodable audio tracks

(1/1)

Jpabbott71:
Trying to get ready for the season and several songs that were used last year are coming up with an error message that reads "No decodable audio tracks" it says that song has either been removed from the devise or is in a format that cannot be decoded. Songs are in library and we're used last year. I tried deleting the player and starting over and now it will not let me access my iTunes library.  The screen simply swipes left to another blank screen.

UpAllnite Software:
The no decodable tracks for a song that was there last year, usually just means that the itunes library removed the local copy of a song to make room on the device.  You can usually fix that by opening the music app on the device and tapping the cloud icon by the song to redownload.

The problem with it not opening the itunes library is usually something hung up in the iOs music app.  That entire picker screen is actually run in the music app process.  I would try either killing the music app or restarting the device.
