Imported playlist not finding music

Hello all.... I have an iTunes playlist created for my music and all of my player info etc set up on an iPhone and everything is working perfectly.  I wanted to setup a backup device in case something happens to the primary device.   So I loaded the same iTunes playlist and exported the player data to the new device.  All of the players info, situational playlists, inning break playlists, etc.  showed up exactly as on the 1st device.  When I press play, I'm getting a message basically saying it's not seeing the source files.  Any ideas?

UpAllnite Software:
Do both devices have access to the same itunes library account?  The imported settings should be able to relink with the music if the itunes libraries have the same songs and they are dowloaded locally to the second device.
