Starting yesterday, every walkout causes the volume of the phone to drop to 1 (from 10) when the Murf.AI voice starts. I have configured most walkouts where the music starts, then a second or two later I'll have the announcement start. This app ducking has been working fine until now.
The ducking/volume issue doesn't seem to happen when the player's announcement starts before the music.
I'm using an iPhone 6s exclusively for this app and functionality, and it's been great.
All the songs are mp3s downloaded locally on the phone.
This isn't a bluetooth speaker issue, as it occurs even just on the phone without any bluetooth involved.
I'm using pre-generated Murf.AI voice announcements.
The only work-around I've found is if I quickly push volume down and then volume up (so from 10 to 9 to 10) when the music starts but before the announcement ducking, then the app ducks the music under the voice-over properly without affecting the phone's volume.
I've been using this app loudly and proudly for years. This is the first time I've had this issue. I haven't changed anything since last week when it worked. I did notice today that a new version is now installed (today?), with lots of volume-related fixes. This seems suspect...
I've got 3 more games to "dj" this week, and 4 next week. Then All-Stars and summer ball starts. So I'm hopeful to resolve this as quickly as possible.
Thanks!
Steve
