Where do I login to the app?  It takes me right to the search page, but when I click to download I get an error that says sign in to confirm you are not a bot.

FAQ - Frequently Asked Questions / Re: Data transfer

Seamless, no... but not too difficult.  Tap the 'share data' on the settings page of the app to create a file export of all the players, song selections, times, announcements, etc.  Send that file to the person with the iPhone.  They should open the email, tap on the file attachment, from the screen that opens displaying basic stats of the export, they should tap the share button on the bottom left of the screen and then pick walkout song DJ as the target.

Then for the music to match, you will need to find all the songs you were using with your Android file manager.  If you were using the simple song collector, those music files should be in a folder called simplesongfinder off the downloads folder.  Select songs like 5 at a time and email them to the iPhone.  They can then open the email, tap each song to open and then share button to share with walkout song DJ.  The app will match up the songs to the data so it should work once the songs are there to match the data.

Issue Reporting / Ai voices removed by Ai vendor...
Last post by UpAllnite Software - March 25, 2025, 07:59:46 PM
The AI vendor used by walkout song DJ recently removed the Lucas voice and possibly others leading to a confusing error message "unable to generate Murf. AI announcement.  Please check your internet and try again."

The solution is to simply choose another voice and announcement generation should work again.

I will improve that error message in the next version of both the Apple and Android versions.

Yes, 'audio in' is where you would plug the aux cord either from your phone or from the Bluetooth receiver.

I only see USB, audio in, DC in 5v. Is auxiliary another name of one of those?

If one song played fine and then the next was inaudible, then what you are describing is a failure of the speaker to restore the volume after a fade out.  Apple Music has this ridiculous interface where we cannot turn down just the Apple Music player.  We have to turn down the global device volume and then turn it back on real quick for the next song.  Some Bluetooth speakers ignore the volume restore if there isn't something playing.  I have tried tinkering with an option to play a basically inaudible song while the volume restored and the results were not full proof enough to release.  I would recommend trying that little Bluetooth receiver from amazon with this speaker. The xg300 does have an aux-in port and usb connector on one side that should work with that receiver.  You could also just use an aux cable from your phone to the speaker.

Correct. I used this app with the same speaker last year and now it seems very quiet. I took it outside to play around with it today. I did have on occasion one song play loud and the next song was almost inaudible. I have a Sony XG300 Bluetooth speaker.

What model of speaker are you trying to use?  You mention 'this year' in your original comment...  did it work in previous years with usable volume and this same speaker and now it doesn't?

It's hard to say just playing it on my phone because a phone speaker isn't that loud. Or maybe it is the same issue. I read about your recommendation to purchase an amplifier from Amazon and wondered if that's what I need, but my speaker doesn't have an auxiliary mode. All I know is I can't play the lineup like it is because nobody could hear it.
