Can’t access my library

I can not get to my music to put it in the app.  I have gone to the app to give permission, but there is nothing there. It also is not under privacy. What can I do to get access to the music in the app.

Is this on Apple or Android?  Where is your music located?

It is an iPad Air and the music is located in my library.  I do not have a place in privacy or in the library to give the app access.

Under privacy, the setting category for your library is "media and Apple Music".  Tapping that should bring up a list with the Walkout Song DJ app listed.  You can also just look for the App icon at the bottom of the settings list and tap that. "Media and Apple music" should be there as well.

I did both and is not an option in either place.

what version of iOS is on your device?

Do you have things already setup in the app or is this a fresh install?

I am running IOS 12.1.4.  I tried it on my IPad Pro too and same issue.  I have reinstalled but nothing is working.  Thoughts?

I have never had anyone report a problem like this in the 5 years the app has been out there so I have no solutions in mind.  From what I read on Apple forums, they suggest killing the settings app, power cycling your device, or reinstalling the app.  But if you tried it on two devices and get the same issue, those solutions seem moot.

Can you email to walkoutsongdj@gmail.com a screen shot of your privacy page from the Apple Settings App and then the page that opens up when you tap on the Walkout Song DJ app icon in the settings app.

I found a possible solution...  Does your devices by chance have 'screen time' enabled?  There are settings in there to disallow changes to privacy settngs.

No my device doesn’t have screen time enabled.

Have opened the walkout song app, added a player, and then attempted to add a song from your iTunes library?  The app doesnt appear in the privacy lists until you actually attempt to access your lbrary.  The app should also present you with a request to allow access to the library at that point.
