Can't add song for new player

I have about 20 kids added already, songs included. I added another but the app won't allow me to add a song for this player. Please help.

At what point in the process is the app preventing you from adding the song for this player?

Do you get an error message?

As soon as I click on 'add song' it doesn't do anything. No error message. It simply won't let me add a song.

So I add a player, then depress 'tap to add song' and this is where I don't get a response. It will depress but never go to my songs to choose. No error.

That sounds like the Walkout Song app is having some problem loading the iOS music selector.  That music selector runs in the iTunes process on the device and can sometimes get hung. 

As a first step to try, Can you restart your device and see if that corrects the issue?
