I searched the forum tonight and couldn't find anyone bringing up this topic, so I figured I'd add my query. I usually use songs from Apple, but I recently imported a song from outside of Apple. I've done this in the past with no issues. Basically it's me slightly editing an MP3 into a clean version. When I added the song a few weeks ago, everything worked great - no issues. I went in yesterday and tried to import a 2nd song and used the same method. It shows it uploaded but the song won't play. No sound is coming out. I went back to the song I added successfully a few weeks back and now it is silent too. All other 500+ songs work like normal. Has there been some change to imported songs that would have allowed it to work a few weeks ago but now it isn't any longer? I've used this app for the last 10 years with no issues and love it! I just am at a loss with this issue and was hoping someone could help me. Thank you!!

Nvm.  User error.

I didn't realize now in order to sort or shuffle, you must be in edit menu.
I like this tweak. Much better incase of miss press

The sort and shuffle buttons have been there for a while, and they shouldn't do anything unless you press them.  It has been requested that those are only enabled when the edit button is pressed.  Would that resolve the issue for you?

I used to have my pregame songs ready to go. Now there is a "Sort" and "S...fle" that breaks up the list and has rearranged my song list, VERY FRUSTRATED. Been using this app for years, ready to give up, tired of the endless problems that I have to figure out when using this app. Yet again have to find someone else to do the music and lineup because Walkout DJ is giving yet another problem to fix.

YouTube will occasionally block specific network addresses that it deems to be a high risk for bots extracting songs and videos.  Best way to avoid the issue is to use the Song Collector from another network address that YouTube has not blacklisted. If you are using a vpn, then try a different server.  If you are using a home internet, then try rebooting your router to get a difference address.  If you have the option for cellular, try that.

Many Bluetooth speakers especially when connected to an Apple device playing Apple music can be a serious pain with unexpected volume loss, missed playback of the song or the announcement or both.  I have tested with many and tried many different tricks and tweaks to try to get them to behave but they still act up more often than not. 

I finally found a pretty reasonable solution that i can share:

Buy this little Esinkin Bluetooth receiver from Amazon:

Price was 23.99 when this was posted.

Put that device near your problematic Bluetooth speaker, attach the usb power adapter from the usb of the speaker to the Esinkin power input, connect from the Esinkin RCA out using the provided cable to the speaker aux port.  Put your speaker in aux mode, connect your apple device via Bluetooth to the Esinkin and Walkout Song DJ should play much more reliably through that combination. 

Note: You still may need the 'Send external speaker Wake-up' enabled on the settings page of the app for some speakers that want to go to sleep within seconds of the last playback regardless of how they are connected.

Yes...
On the Apple version: on the settings menu, under ai audio affects submenu, there is a gain slider
On the Android version: on the settings menu, announce gain slider

Slide that in small increments until the balance is better.  It can generate distortion if you go too far.
