Issue Reporting / File not playable in Android

I have had the app for over a year now and today I tried to create a new lineup and when adding an mp3 it's telling me that the file is not playable in Android. I pulled the file on my phone and I can play it, but it's giving me and error on the app. What should I do?

the simple song collector was updated yesterday and it must be updated manually.  You can get the latest from top of this thread:

It is currently working for me on a quick retest.

i keep getting an error that says streaming failed. failed to get stream info. i have had simple song collector for years and the last few months it hasn't worked. i am trying to download songs for ballpark dj.

Could you do an export of your data to walkoutsongdj@gmail.com and include the name of the player with the announcement issue and what device type you are using, Apple or Android?

One of the player's announcement on my team consistently breaks out. None of the other player announcements do this and they all have the same settings. I've tried deleting and adding the player again and it does the same thing.

iTunes and Apple Music are not yet supported on Android because Apple hasn't provided a stable and usable interface for other apps to use on Android.  You should, however, be able to find a matching version of any song in the Apple Music catalog with the song collector.

That error indicates that YouTube has blocked the internet address you are using with the song collector. I hear that primarily reported with vpn addresses or from addresses that download a large number of songs in a short time. Advice is to go to whatsmyip.com to find what address you have on the device and then trying to connect to the internet a different way to get a different address and see if the issue goes away.
