Issue Reporting / Re: Already played songs
« on: February 26, 2016, 08:35:23 am »
Looks like I broke that functionality while adding the song artist to that page.   I found in the code where I broke it and I will get an update in to Apple as soon as the existing update (2.1.1) in queue has been released.   I expect the update in queue will be out by the end of this weekend and then it takes another 4-5 days for Apple to review another one.

Thanks for reporting the issue and I apologize for the inconvenience!

I have had a couple users comment that with the new version 2.1.14, the + and - fine adjustment are gone from the cue and duration selector and they can't set precise times any more...

Please note that the label that used to display the cue and duration has been replaced by a time picker control so you can tap and drag the minutes, seconds, and tenths values individually to select the time you want.  This change was made to allow much faster adjustment.

I will try to add back the + and - controls in addition to the time picker in a future version so those that liked that interface can still use it.

A crash will occur with version 2.1.14 or 2.1.15 of Walkout Song DJ in combination with iOS7 when trying to add a song to the pregame playlist that is already in the list.

The workaround is to avoid adding duplicates to the pregame playlist.

The bug has been fixed and submitted to Apple as of 2/21/16 and should be released within the next couple days.

The new control should allow you to scroll the individual digits for minutes, seconds, tenths.   Just touch and drag up or down on the the digit you want to change.   This was intended to make it easier for large changes or to just pick specific values.  Please let me know if it works for you now that I explained how it works.

Release Notes / Release notes for version 2.1.15
« on: February 18, 2016, 07:16:58 pm »
Version 2.1.15 was released from the App Store on February 18, 2016.

Added features and modifications include:

- just fixes the little bug in 2.1.14 that was crashing devices with outdated iOS 8.3 or 8.4 when opening the new config menu.

474
Please note: there is a crash bug in version 2.1.14 of Walkout Song DJ that only occurs with devices running iOS 8.4 or 8.3.

If you have one of these devices and have upgraded to version 2.1.14 of Walkout Song DJ, please upgrade the device to iOS 9.0 and the problem will go away.

I have submitted another version 2.1.15 to the app store that will also remedy the bug.

General Discussion / Re: Android App?
« on: January 01, 2016, 12:00:16 pm »
I still haven't had the time available to put the Android version together so it won't be ready by the end January 2016.
I apologize, but writing apps is just a hobby for me so the time for new versions and added features is currently pretty limited.

The Andriod version is still in the plans and I will post any progress made on this forum.

Thank you for your interest!

I think one may come out eventually, but i haven't started on it yet.  App writing is just a hobby for me and life recently hasn't allowed a lot of time for hobbling.

The section played for walkout songs defaults to the first ten seconds.

You can change both the start time and the duration by tapping on either the start time (00:00.0) or Duration (00:11.0) column for the song.  That should bring up a cue and duration editing screen that allows you to adjust those values.  The cue/duration screen should be pretty self explanatory, but in simplest form, you can hit the play button and then tap the '[' button at the start of the desired segment and the ']' button at the end.

Enhancement Requests / Re: add an equalizer for the music
« on: June 09, 2015, 08:03:17 am »
Wow, I did not even realize those equalizer settings were available in iOS  :)

They are pretty well hidden in the settings applet for the music app.

I will investigate whether what is set in that equalizer is available to other apps and then see if I can apply it to the playback of Walkout Song DJ.   If so, then I should be able to add that feature in the next version.
