Could you share your data setup file from the app to walkoutsongdj@gmail.com and let me know which players you observe the issue occurring with?

Version 2.6.10 of Walkout Song DJ for iOS was released from the App Store on 9/13/22

Changes for this release:
- Fix display corruption in iOS 16 for the cue and duration time pickers

I have iOS 16 downloaded on an iPhone 13 max and I do see the problem with cue and duration controls.  I am not able to duplicate any issues with the announcements.  I tried text to speech, imported, and recorded announcements and they all played through correctly.

Do the announcements cut short playing through just the iPhone speaker or is there a Bluetooth speaker involved in your setup?

Seems just the usual where Apple breaks stuff every time they update iOS.  I will take a look and see what I can do to fix things and get an update posted.

Can you tell me what device model you have and what announcement type you are using (text to speech, recorded, imported)?

Have you installed the most recent version of the song collector app?  Google broke it about a week ago and it was unable to download.  I posted an update right after that to fix the issue.

I now have a beta ready with the feature you requested of a customizable text to speech script.  I would love to get your input on it before it goes to general release.  I will add the email you registered on the forum to the beta list.  Please accept the beta invite when it comes in the next couple days and let me know what you think.

Unfortunately, Amazon does not provide any method for third party applications to access Amazon music subscription songs.  If you purchase songs individually from the Amazon website, you can download those on a pc or laptop and then transfer to your device using a usb or google drive.

That feature is already on my todo list... look for it in the next Android update which I am working on now and expect to release in the upcoming slow period before fall ball starts.

You can export what you setup to a file that you can email to other people with the app.  That option is labeled 'share data' on the settings tab of the app.  They should be able to click on the file attachment and import what you have setup.  To get the music to match the setup, share the 'walkout song DJ' playlist that the app creates in your music app.  Have them open that in their music app and do a one click download of the whole thing.

Another popular option is to find an old iPad or Android tablet, import what you have setup on that as a team device and just pass it around for games.

That would depend on what type of songs you are referring to...  You can air drop physical music files that you have copied to your device and then imported to the app.  That is just basic iOS functionality from the files app.  If you are referring to Apple Music songs, then you have no access to the physical files so nothing to airdrop.  You can, however, share the song playlist that the app uses.  Look for it in your music app playlists with the name "Walkout Song DJ".  If you share that with someone that has Apple music, they should be able to one click download all the songs your are using. 

Apple Music playback on iOS has no volume control provided by the operating system so there is no way to make it lower relative to the announcement.  The announcement does have volume control but it defaults to the maximum volume.  In my experience and retested just now, the volume of the two are fairly balanced...  Does this music too loud problem happen with all the Apple Music songs you try or just specific ones?  Can you do a device recording of what you are observing and email to me at Walkoutsongdj@gmail.com?

ok, I see what your suggesting...  I have added it to the update todo list.  Hopefully, I can get that done for the next update once the peak season subsides.
